The Best Valuable Things I Get From Piano Learning
I’ve been interested in piano learning for years, but have no chance to attend systematic piano lessons due to family condition when I was little. Fortunately, I grew up, graduated from university and have my own job now, I can live by my own, also have extra money for piano learning.
After 4 months piano learning, I have some thoughts and feelings about piano learning.
Firstly I can relax myself from daily intense work.
I work as a game designer in a company, 8 working hours per day(work day), deal with different versions of game and follow each departmental game status makes me feel intense for hours. But I relieve my stress by playing the piano, usually I practice at home, sometimes go to the class in my community. My teacher is a nice and beautiful lady, she teaches me patiently with her professional skills. I can learn the piano without any pressure.
Secondly, piano learning helps me focus on my handy work.
To be honest, I can concentrate on my work for longer time after piano learning, I don’t know if you feel so, but for me, it’s true. As a 21st human, who can live without internet, we always lose ourselves in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, mobile game and other social networking software. When we’re at work, reading or have dinner, as long as our phone rings we’ll check the messages at first time. The majority of us are becoming the Phubbing. I used to be one of them, but piano learning changed my bad habit, I can focus on my handy things for a long time without touch my phone. Amazing, it surprises me as well.
Thirdly, piano learning activate my exploration desire
When I practice at home, I met lots of doubts, which inspires me to find truth by asking for my friends help or searching the answer from Google. For the uncertain problems I’ll write it down then ask my teacher for professional answer on the other day. Not only I explored more on pinao learning, but also on other things. It gives me the feeling that I can learn more and get more. And it turns out with exploring more indeed gaining more.
Fourthly, I benefit a lot from perseverance
Piano learning is a process of long-term adherence, no one can reach the goal in one step. I know it deeply from piano learning. This recalls me the first day that I attended my piano class, my teacher taught me the basic knowledge of piano and key notes, 45minutes class content, nothing else, but right because of these content, I can move to next step, learn to play C(DO) with correct fingering. With four months perseverance, it’s easy for me to play simple songs. My teacher encourages me for learning fast, I really appreciate myself for not giving up piano learning on halfway, also should say thank you to my competent teacher.
Fifthly, I become more confident
I was an introvert girl with a little self-abasement. After piano learning, I find myself become more confident when I talk with others. And good things happened, my colleagues once told me that I look more lovely after learning piano. I was totally surprised and very happy, there is a saying goes, the woman who has the confidence is the prettiest one. I believe this. Moreover, I got more friends due to more confidence increased.
Sixthly, I made more friends
One wonderful thing I got from the music store where I take piano lesson is I made many friends there. They all love music and learn one instrument, we often share our music learning experience together, also talk something else like work, shopping and food. Life goes happier with those like-minded friends.
Above 6 main points are the best valuable things I get from 4 months piano learning. How about you? What’s your piano learning story and thoughts?
